A copay is the percentage of any wellness claim that you’re responsible for. The higher the copay you choose the cheaper your monthly plan cost will be and the lower the copay you choose the higher your plan cost will be.

A membership fee is a one time sign up fee that is charged to setup your wellness membership and activate your account.

Cancellation policy

Petted wellness plans are based on a 12 month term but we do realize that sometimes situations occur that are beyond your control and you might need to cancel your wellness plan. Here’s how our cancellation policy works.

1. No Claims Made - you can cancel anytime with no cancellation fee due.

2. If You’ve Made A Claim – if you wish to cancel before the end of the 12 month term, there is a cancellation fee due of the LESSER of the amount paid in claims or the balance left to pay on the plan.

Note: If your pet passes away and you send us a copy of the death certificate or other proof from your vet, we will IMMEDIATELY cancel your plan and you will NOT be charged a cancellation fee.

Why is there a cancellation fee?

We know cancellation fees aren’t ideal but so we can keep offering these plans we have to protect ourselves against the risk of a pet parent signing up today, claiming for a bunch of wellness treatments tomorrow and then cancelling the next day.

We’ve kept the claims process really simple for you. Here's how to make a claim:

Step 1: Email us a copy of your invoice from your vet or preferred retailer.

Step 2: If your email is registered with Zelle or Venmo we’ll make sure you’re reimbursed direct to your bank within 24 hours. If you don't use Zelle or Venmo then no problem, we'll send you a check within 24 hours.

Your pet is covered for phyiscal wellness exams which are a routine examination of your pet, and are normally done on an annual or twice annual basis. It's a check-up to ensure your pet is healthy from head-to-toe and is essential in maintaining their wellbeing.

There are no financial caps for pet wellness exams and we will pay 100% of whatever your vet charges you.

Routine vaccines recommended by your vet are essential to keeping your pet vaccinated against illnesses such as:

There are no financial caps for vaccines and boosters and we will pay 100% of whatever your vet charges you.
